Tohu Experiences is owned and operated by brothers Takurua and Tuhua Mutu. First started in 1989 (then named Priceless Experiences) Tohu has accumulated a depth of knowledge and experience that have led it to become industry leaders in Tourism and Events.
The Tohu Experiences whānau (family) is one that was born from an ethos of ensuring that every experience is always about people. Our professional and personable crew follow traditional Māori values of Kaitiakitanga (guardians of place and people), Manaakitanga (building integrity and strength in each other), Whanaungatanga (creating lasting relationships with all those whose paths we cross) and Kotahitanga (coming together and moving forward as one).
Our strong focus on values, Māori culture and putting the people first has seen Tohu grow into the preferred choice for those seeking bespoke, professional and genuine services.

This whakatauki is used on an occasion when something very special and unique takes place. It is often said of distinguished guests who seldom visited or to refer to great leaders and their achievements.
Another interpretation of the whakatauki is that you only live once and you should therefore seize every opportunity for betterment.
Whatever interpretation you choose, this whakatauki encapsulates both inwards and outwards focus for the people of Tohu Experiences.
